VAT formulas

VAT = net × (rate ÷ 100)
gross = net + VAT = net × (1 + rate ÷ 100)
net from gross = gross ÷ (1 + rate ÷ 100)

Example: £100 net + 20% VAT → £20 VAT, £120 gross.
